2020 Festival Dates - Friday, November 6, Saturday, November 7, Sunday, November 8

Maryland Irish Festival

The Maryland Irish Festival is presented annually by Irish Charities of Maryland, a 501 (c)(3) Charitable Organization, and is held at the Maryland State Fair Grounds in Timonium during the second weekend in November. This annual celebration of Irish culture features local, regional and international Irish music, Irish Dancers, traditional cuisine; cultural exhibits and workshops, and a wide variety of quality vendors of Irish goods.

Join us all weekend as we celebrate our Irish culture with great music, food, beer, and do some early Christmas shopping with our fantastic vendors!  We have many Cultural and Historical displays and performances, the well attended “Speaker Series”, and a large dedicated kids play area with bouncy castles, activities, and games.

The modest admission fee to the festival goes to support the many charitable causes of our own Maryland Irish community, whose members volunteer their time every year to put on this great event.  It’s a family affair, so come out, have fun and be part of this great charitable endeavor.

Help an Irish Dancer!  Watch a Video!!

We are reaching out to you to ask for your support for my daughter’s bid to win a scholarship to Fusion Fighters Irish Dance Fest this summer. Lauren Grace is going to be a new cast member, and the scholarship will reduce our cost for her to participate.
Dancers from around the world are competing for the scholarship and participating in the show. What is involved in the competition is simply to get people to view her dance video on Facebook. It is just 42 seconds long. We have been working very hard to get as many views as possible, and today she passed 5000! However, 2 other competitors who are not from the US, had their videos posted yesterday and they have passed us up!
I have received support from the Emerald Society in Baltimore and DC, and I am looking for additional organizations who might also be supportive.
Would you please consider sharing the video link I am attaching and asking your members to view, like, and share? We will be working with the video until the end of next week, when the competition ends. With all that is going on the world today, this is a simple request that can do some good.
