Maryland Irish Festival

The Maryland Irish Festival is presented annually by Irish Charities of Maryland, a 501 (c)(3) Charitable Organization, and is held at the Maryland State Fair Grounds in Timonium during the second weekend in November. This annual celebration of Irish culture features local, regional and international Irish music, Irish Dancers, traditional cuisine; cultural exhibits and workshops, and a wide variety of quality vendors of Irish goods.

Join us all weekend as we celebrate our Irish culture with great music, food, beer, and do some early Christmas shopping with our fantastic vendors!  We have many Cultural and Historical displays and performances, the well attended “Speaker Series”, and a large dedicated kids play area with bouncy castles, activities, and games.

The modest admission fee to the festival goes to support the many charitable causes of our own Maryland Irish community, whose members volunteer their time every year to put on this great event.  It’s a family affair, so come out, have fun and be part of this great charitable endeavor.

The annual trip to Arlington National Cemetery to place wreaths on the tombs of the fallen will be held on Saturday, December 16th.  The first bus is filled, and a second one is ordered so that all of those who want to travel to place wreaths can attend.  The buses will leave the Timonium Park and Ride between 6:00 and 6:15 AM with coffee, hot chocolate, and donuts, travel to Arlington National Cemetery, and drop off the volunteers at the Ord & Weitzel Gate on the north side of the cemetery.  Participants, after passing through security will walk to Section 28 for their station.  Distribution of wreaths will start at 9:15 AM, and will continue until all graves are covered.  The buses will then depart, arriving back at the Timonium Park and Ride in the afternoon.

Tickets for the bus can be purchased using the PayPal button below:
